There is a new sheriff in town. \u00a0At least that is what it seems but I am not sure he will last too long and may already be fading. \u00a0You know him. \u00a0He is young, hip, conservative, socially drinks yet has a very rigid and somewhat unforgiving view on family, spousal relationships, John Calvin, and whatever else is not of his worldview. \u00a0The Urban Fundamentalist is fast becoming sheriff.<\/p>\n
By now you know I am poking fun at young Calvinistic pastors. \u00a0They have ‘5’ distinct teachings.<\/p>\n
1. \u00a0Everything they say is said with a stern rightness…even when they say they don’t know.<\/p>\n
2. \u00a0You don’t know as much as they do.<\/p>\n
3. \u00a0They don’t need you, they will do their own thing, they know what they are doing.<\/p>\n
4. They are always cool.<\/p>\n
5. They will thank you for supporting their start up but after careful prayerful consideration, they will support another group when they are done with you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
